Puligny-Montrachet 1er cru,
Hameau de Blagny
This Puligny-Montrachet originates from the “climat” (or plot) known as the “hameau” (or hamlet) of Blagny;
It is a delicate wine and well structured on the nose and on the palate: at first the aroma is very fresh, with notes of acacia blossom, citrus fruit, buttered bread and vanilla which gradually become dominated by honey and hazelnut.
When young, this wine is ideal with scallops; it will suit superbly, 2 or 3 years later, served with a “poularde à la crème” (chicken or pullet in cream sauce).
In a good, cool cellar Puligny-Montrachet can be laid down for around 10 years.
